I know this is a running theme on this blog but I genuinely don't know how some people seem to do everything they set out to do and we're just trying to make sure everyone has everything they need. I made this dish with pork ribs and carrots for my beloved, and he absolutely loved it. What I didn't tell him was while I was making that I was also trying to do the laundry, feed the pets,feed Trevor, get his bath ready, and clean the living room. Obviously the food got cooked, the baby is fed and bathed, the laundry is done, the pets are fed,but the living room still needs to be vacuumed. Gabe was telling me about his work assignments for this week and they're predictably bullshit. They decided the drainage system for the city isn't large enough so they need to add more to it. That means digging more ditches and installing more ways for water to escape when the city inevitably floods again. I realize they won't be digging the ditches all by hand, but some will be at least started by hand. He was saying as the foreman he doesn't have to dig himself; he's just responsible for making sure the project is done on time and hopefully nothing goes wrong. From what he said this is another big and expensive project he's nervous about being put in charge of. I know how well he did last time he was in charge of a major project like that and can only hope it's the same again. I almost forgot I had to run and get a new coffee maker as ours broke this morning. The loss that is to a house like ours is immense; he and I can't function without coffee. I have no idea what happened either; it was working perfectly yesterday and today it was just dead. I forgot to add that to the list of things I had to do. 🥱🥱 I'm glad I can go to bed soon, I don't know how much longer I can keep my eyes open. I guess that's it for now.
