I can't believe this day has come; our precious baby is finally here. It was definitely not an easy delivery but every millisecond of pain was worth it. I'm (obviously) in the newborn photo, as is Gabe, but I was exhausted and crying so much I didn't want anyone to see me. He( as always) is very shy and asked me not to post a picture of his face, and I respect his wishes and boundaries. After a bit we took him over to meet his uncle, Cory. Love at first sight for both of them, which makes me very happy. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this; he's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I don't think I've ever loved anyone this much. I'm not going to be a perfect mom but I promise to do my absolute best to give him everything I can and make certain he knows how loved and wanted he is. I'm very tired and should take a break.
