Another update 👠👜

I'm happy to report that my beloved seems more like himself today, and finally had more than a moment to spend with me. He's still tired and stressed, but happier. He and I had another moment this morning just holding each other and refusing to let go until the absolute last minute. He also bought me a new purse and some Channel shoes; I want to stress that I NEVER asked him for these things. I also want to stress that the soap and candle holder from Bath and Body Works were bought with my own money for our bathroom. I haven't seen their stuff for such low prices in a long time and thought the packaging was cute. I truly didn't want him to leave and was happy in his arms. I made him some Crockpot chicken soup yesterday as my back was killing me and I needed to take it a bit easier. Luckily he said it was the best chicken soup he's ever had. I just want him to be happy and I'm still worried about him. He said he's barely had time to think or breathe and it doesn't seem like it's going to get better. They're at least trying to hire more guys but it seems like no one really wants the jobs. I at least hope they find more guys to help and help take some of the burden off him. I guess that's it for now.
