One of the best weekends of the year🍪🐍

The last few days were so wonderful, even under the circumstances. We went to our usual camping spot and spent time camping, floating down the river, and watching the Perseid meteor shower. We saw this odd, completely quiet, yet mobile light in the sky. It got somehow brighter as it moved. I only wish I had a better camera to record it, but I have what I have. I know he wanted to go away for a bit because of the weird text I mentioned but I believe he truly also needs a break. We went to get food for the trip and I couldn't resist a cheap and delicious cookie. It was so peaceful and quiet, with only a few other trucks going by to get to other campsites. We floated downriver, holding hands and this beautiful blue dragonfly landed first on my hand, then his foot, flying off into the distance after. I was a few feet behind him getting into the water and screamed as this snake crossed my path; I believe I mentioned before how much they scare me. He turns around,heading towards me to see if I'm okay and I have to sheepishly admit it was a harmless snake and it wasn't going to hurt me. I honestly would give so much to have more times like this with him. I guess that's it for now.
