This has been a great weekend in so many ways but it feels like it went so quickly, and it feels like we had to get back to the regular everyday things far too fast. I went to the pool again because it's ridiculously hot; sadly so many people had the same idea and it was crowded. I had a hot dog at the pool; I didn't expect to get hungry as quickly as I did but I couldn't help myself. I had a bowl of the raspberry ice cream I made and it was so good; I need to do that again. I miss my beloved so much, I wish he didn't have to work so hard. He sends me his usual "I love you" and "I miss you" messages, and I know he means it. I brought him some ice cream and a sandwich,and we just held each other for a minute. I honestly can't wait for him to get home. I guess that's it for now.
