I truly hate to sound like a broken record but it's unfortunately so true. I made a wonderful pizza and a delicious breakfast this morning, as well as grabbing some boba tea with my beloved in the rare minutes he has a break. He hasn't had nearly enough rest and it makes me worry. He showed me the work schedule for next week and it's even busier; I don't know how they can do this to him. We had a series of bad storms, lots of flooding, and next week is going to be just as bad if not worse. He comes home with just enough energy to grab me, eat, shower, and sleep. He apologizes all the time for not being here more than he is but I know he has no choice. I'm trying to grow some plants to brighten up our place a bit; African violets and we're trying to grow a prickly pear cactus. I'm also buying my first proper lolita dress and accessories. They're so beautiful and this is such a great deal, I couldn't pass it up. These dresses are usually so expensive and this one is brand new. I admit I have a closet absolutely full of clothes and 2 jewelry boxes full of jewelry so I don't need them; I just desperately want them. Two of the bracelets he bought me from Kreepsville 666 broke within a few days of each other and I admit to some sadness about that; I don't think I got nearly enough wear out of them and it seemed to me like they broke quite easily. At the same time they weren't very expensive and can be replaced. The Kreepsville 666 necklace he bought me on the other hand I wear every day and it's in excellent condition. It's genuinely painful being an American who loves Japanese music and clothes; the import fees are freaking awful and I hate that. It speaks to how much I love things like that that I would be willing to pay such ridiculous prices. It also speaks to how awesome Japanese music and clothes are. I guess that's it for now.
