I have to begin this entry by saying I was wrong to complain yesterday and I was shown for the billionth time how lucky I am. Yesterday was just as crazy busy as I said it was but it ended so beautifully. I got a message from my beloved saying he would be late but he would be home. It took hours for them to fix the water line and repair the street over it and he didn't make it home until after midnight. He was filthy and exhausted,but so happy to see me. He apologized for picking me up while he was still dirty but I didn't give a shit and grabbed him right back. We just held each other for a few minutes and he said " Thank you for being so patient with me and not getting mad that I work so much. I love you so much and really needed you." He kissed me and held me tight for another minute before dragging himself in to shower before bed, where he fell asleep in a few minutes, arms wrapped around me and a small smile on his handsome face. We both slept in a bit; his boss at least recognizes his need for some rest and food before being dragged back to work. I didn't make the fanciest breakfast but it was good. I got a couple more skin and hair care products; the Clinique scrub is the fanciest one I own so far and isn't as harsh as the generic one I have. My skin is pretty sensitive and I should be careful with it. I wish I weren't here alone again but I know he needs to finish the project they pulled him off of because of that emergency with the water line. I also ended up getting this blanket for when we curl up on the couch to watch TV; it's cool and actually does serve a purpose. I also finally got around to organizing at least some of my clothes, shoes,make-up and jewelry; the motivation to get up and actually start was spontaneous but also quite welcome as I had needed to do it for so long. I guess that's it for now.
