Such a wonderful day ♥️💕💋

I awoke to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and my beloved's voice as he gently touched my shoulder. "Happy Valentine's Day, my love. I hope I made the coffee as good as you always do." I couldn't help but smile at this small, sweet gesture and gladly drank the delicious coffee he offered me. He surprised me with a beautiful new tea kettle to replace the nasty old one we had been using, a delicious smelling lotion, a ring I've wanted for a long time, and an adorable new pajama set. He asked to come in to work a bit later today so he could make coffee and breakfast for me. ♥️💕♥️💕 When I say this man is love I mean every word of it. Mochi and the kitties never leave us alone for long and soon we were surrounded by happy, hungry, noisy animals. He fed them so I could stay in bed a bit longer and I must admit I really appreciated that. He knows I work hard too and he truly appreciates everything I do for him. This is the kind of love I've always wanted but thought was impossible; I'm so glad we took a chance on each other. Granted this is only our second Valentine's Day together but it's been so wonderful every day with him. I want many many more years like this. Of course we're both at work now but counting the minutes until we get to be together again. Is it weird that 2 40 year olds are acting like teenagers in love? I guess I don't really care what other people think; we're happy. I'm the reason he started smiling again and vice versa; that's nothing to feel bad about. I'm honestly finally happy and so is he. I should really get back to work; things are going to be crazy enough the rest of the day and I just wanted to talk quickly about my day.
